VAT Increase Effective 1 May 2025 – Prepare with Itensity
South Africa’s VAT rate will increase from 15% to 15.5% on 1 May 2025.
To help our clients navigate this change, Itensity has released a new financial report designed to simplify decision-making around pricing adjustments.
What Does This Mean for You?
The VAT increase may require you to adjust your membership pricing slightly to maintain your current income. For example:
A R100/month membership with a 0.5% increase becomes R100.50
Our tool also gives you rounded options (up, down, or to the nearest rand)

Let us know your preferred percentage
Indicate your rounding preference (if applicable)
We’ll apply this across all existing tariffs and active memberships.
⚠️ Deadline for Requests: 17 April 2025
This ensures we apply the changes before the VAT increase takes effect.
