Itensity news – As we approach the end of an extraordinary year, we’re thrilled to share with you the highlights and changes that made 2023 special for Itensity/KRS Club.

New Company Structure:

We are delighted to announce significant changes to our management team. Lorraine Steyn, a member of our board since 2016, has assumed the role of CEO. With over 30 years of experience as a developer, entrepreneur, and CEO, Lorraine is poised to lead KRS Club / Itensity to new heights. In addition, we’ve restructured our management team to enhance our platform, streamline processes, and elevate customer service. We’ve also expanded our team with additional senior software engineers.

News : Letter from the new Itensity CEO:

It’s been my pleasure to get to know our clients over the course of 2023. As we’ve expanded our development and support capacity, so we’ve streamlined our communication channels and ensured that clients can reach senior people to escalate requirements and ensure the smooth operation of the Itensity platform. I’ve attended meetings with many of our clients this year, listening to how we can better meet your needs.

Our main challenge this year has been our fast growth as a company. We’ve needed to slow down and improve our QA, along with a huge amount of upskilling and knowledge sharing across all our teams. As we reach the end of 2023, we are in a much better position than last year this time. Our staff numbers have increased by 11 people in 2023, with further hiring planned for 2024.

To everyone who is walking this journey with us, we thank you for your support. We already have a feature-rich system that stands out in the Club Management systems space, at a very competitive price, and becoming more mature and customisable with each month that passes. 

We completed a major infrastructure upgrade this year, that has addressed some older database tech and brought increased performance and stability to our platform.

New Team Members:

Alongside our management changes, we’ve welcomed new talents to our growing team. In 2023, Steven Sewell and JP Damstra as senior team leads, Coenie Rossouw as a developer Arnold Mubaiwa and Nkululeko Mbhele joined as developers, while Lesedi Marokana and Angelique Mcaslin strengthened our support team. We’ve also introduced three dedicated scrum masters – Nichole Francis, Sue Vergeer, and Nosiphelo Mnyani and Mark Elkington is assisting in managing our infrastructure. With these additions, our team now comprises 30 members.

Development:

This past year, our development team has focused on refining and refactoring our codebase to enhance stability. We’re excited to share that we’ve successfully released Online Join. Furthermore, development for guest registration is complete, and it will be released early 2024.

Product strategy 2024

Our primary focus will be on enhancing and refining the features that you love, ensuring a smoother and more delightful experience for our users. We are extending our API infrastructure and back-end modules to provide more consistent access to our features, on a newer, more performant and scalable architecture. By late 2024 we will look at our user interface, which is also due for a refresh. This will be done in a careful stepwise manner that doesn’t interrupt your business, but brings you enhanced functionality, performance and stability.
