Each member’s free monthly workouts depend on their Vitality Health status. This replaced the old flat 24-tokens-per-year model — so a Gold or Diamond member now carries roughly four times the annual visit capacity of a Blue member.
Additional visits beyond the monthly allocation can be bought via the Discovery Banking App or with Discovery Miles. Members earn 100 Vitality points per day for exercising at an approved facility. Allocations are set by Discovery and subject to change.
Paid on the booking, not the turnstile.
The QR code is not the payment trigger — it exists so the member can earn their Vitality points. Payment is governed entirely by the booking record on the Vitality platform.
How members check in & earn points
With access control
The member presents their QR code or 6-digit access token at your gate or turnstile. Itensity verifies the visit automatically and points are awarded.
Without access control — Vitality Anywhere
The member logs into the Vitality platform and scans your facility’s tablet or display screen with their phone camera. That scan validates the session and awards points.
⚠️ Don’t ask members without access control to type in the 6-digit token manually — always use the Vitality Anywhere scan process.

Itensity activates the integration
We switch on the Vitality integration on your account and confirm once it’s live.
Configure booking credits & day passes
Booking credits cover scheduled classes; day passes cover gate access. At least one must be set up for your facility to appear on Discovery — enable both to maximise flexibility.
Set up your QR code
Generate your facility QR under Manage › Discovery › QR Code, and you’re ready for members to check in.
